Spreadin the Real: Busta Rhymes on Roman's Revenge

To end the year of 2010 out correctly, Busta Rhymes has one of the dopest verses of '10 on Nicki Minaj's - Roman's Revenge remix (not sure if its official but who cares)...peep the link to download the track and hear the greatness of Mr. Bussa Buss...

P.S. - Back in the 90's Busta had crazy out of control energy at shows, on tracks and on videos. Ah the 90's, my golden era of hip hop.

Tip of the week #16: No calling of 911 for dumb ish

This should be common freaking sense but this week's tip is DO NOT call 911 for some dumb shit...dumb shit includes: calling because you need a ride to the liquor store, you're upset about your service at McDonald's, discussing your life while drunk to a 911 operator and calling because the Asian woman/man messed up your nails at the nail shop...what the fuck is wrong with people that don't know that 911 is for EMERGENCY purposes only...you know like calling when someone has a heart attack, passes out, breaks a bone or other life threatening situations...

For the assholes who call 911 for ignorant stuff, you are wasting our tax dollars and emergency time when you make these asinine calls...so in conclusion make calls only when you are in a dire situations...(damn some people are simple minded)....peep the vid of this new idiot...

Spreadin the real: Free's shotguns!

Now for those not in the know, "shotguns" are the hips on a woman (mARCandE's dictionary posts are coming soon)...the hips only get called "shotguns" when they are considerably noticeable (on curvy women mostly)...peep the "shotguns" and the "backyard" (backyard is the butt on a woman, shout out to the rapper from Philly, Cassidy) on Free formerly from 106 and Park...I know many dudes wanted to see Free show more of her 'goods' on 106 and Park when she was on...here ya go, good goobly goop she looks good for a 42 year old...

Stuff of hilarity: Funny sexist ads pt. 2

I had a post about vintage sexist ads a while ago and here's the second installment of the series...this is amusing stuff....here's the first

Reminds me of the Hustle & Flow track "Whoop that trick"...whenever your wife gets out of line, you tap that rump to get her back in line

Letting the woman know her place and worth in the household, Wow!

Damn this ad tells everyone that females can not drive at all...amazing what was acceptable and tolerated in before 1980 political correctness (though I think the culture in America is a little too political correct. I loved the sitcoms like Sanford & son, The Jeffersons and All in the family. Hilarious social commentary with no fluff)...

p.s. - though I think these ads are hilarious, I do not support the views and opinions of these ads...except for the simple driving one, just playing (not really though)

p.p.s. - I'm just joking about the last comment seriously

Tip of the Week #15: Women please cook

This may seem antiquated and sexist especially in this ultra-sensitive politically correct world we live in but women if you really wanna grab that dude you're checking for, COOK FOR HIM...some (really a lot) of women do not know or care to know how to cook...i'm telling you from a dude's perspective that we love and appreciate a woman who can cook well...especially since females today think they should not cook...

Real talk, cooking will keep your dude satisfied ladies and he will appreciate it even if he doesn't tell you verbally...Cooking is one of the ways to keep your dude, the other way to keep him is ummm...(you should know what it is)...if you don't then I will tell you, the other is servicing your dude sexually and not to nag him incessantly about trivial shit...remember if you don't cook i guarantee he find a female who can cook...so women get your Rachael Ray on and get yo ass in the kitchen....

Random Rant vol. 30: The Vick Redemption

"The world's back on my d**k, I'm Mike Vick'n it"...lyrics from the always on point emcee from Yonkers, NY, Jadakiss that sum up Michael Vick's incredible comeback this season (check the verse here from Jadakiss & Styles P - So Appalled freestyle)...when the Eagles picked up Vick most of the general public thought that this was an insane move for the Eagles organization...many people thought he didn't deserve to play, he shouldn't have the opportunity to correct his life or shouldn't even get a second chance to redeem himself (crazy to me because he killed dogs not people, though he did deserve to be punished. Here's my hierarchy of life: 1) humans 2) most animals 3) bugs and rodents 4) child sex offenders)...I must say though I'm a Cowboy fan (damn we are struggling and look bad this season) who's team is in the same division as the Eagles, I enjoy watching the Philadelphia Eagles play with Michael Vick at QB...

I like to see when anybody can correct their bad decisions or misfortune and turn it into a 'rags to riches' -esque story...although in Michael Vick's case he already had riches so its a 'riches to rags back to riches' story...i said in a previous rant that once he started winning games all of those animal loving Philadelphians that boycotted outside of Lincoln Financial Field would go away and whatta ya know, you see no boycotting of Vick now...in America regardless of your crime or mishap if you produce money or win games you get forgiven...don't get me wrong, their are some people that still wanna see Vick fail and stumble...its just that you don't hear them now because he's doin so well on and off the field...

The Monday Night Football game against the Redskins further solidified Vick's redemption as he threw for 4 TDs and ran for 2...even if you're a hater you must recognize and realize Vick is an incredibly talented QB that the NFL has never seen before and right now is 1 of the top 10 QBs in the league...Vick congrats and maybe Nike will be calling you for an endorsement deal again...

p.s. - remember haters gonna hate

I like Kanye's music a lot every since the first album, College Dropout but this dude is outta control with the self love to the point where its hilarious...when you see all the moments compiled one after another its funny...truthfully he is one of the most creative musicians in the past 10 years...i guess the saying is true that genius and extraordinarily gifted people are weird, aloof or insane because Ye is definitely 2 of the 3...peep the vid

Since I just posted about Skyzoo, here's 'Zoo battlin Jin on 106 and Park in the mid 2000's when they didn't censor what could rap about...Jin still won but I do remember this battle where Skyzoo was the closest to beating Jin...and the line about AJ is hilarious...

Spreadin the real: Skyzoo's 2 albums

Hip Hop is definitely not DEAD...now the radio music is still kinda shady as far as the quality of music they play but its still good songs and albums out there in the game...one of the dudes i've been listening to steady since '06 is Skyzoo (from Brooklyn, NY)...ever since the classic (imo) album he dropped with 9th Wonder (formerly of Little Brother acclaim) called "Cloud 9: The 3 day high" (they supposedly recorded the album in just 3 days) i've been ridin with 'Zoo...

He released "The Salvation" last year in '09 which was hard and this year in 2010 he dropped an album with producer illmind...the album "Live from the tape deck" is incredibly good with the lead single "Speakers on blast"...i recommend you download it, buy it from a retail store or bootlegger because Skyzoo and Illmind created a great blend of lyricism and beats...

Random Rant vol. 29 - Haters gonna hate

It seems in this year of 2010 (that's damn near over unbelievably, gone by super fast) that hate is at a fever pitch...the term hatin', player hatin' (player hatin degree = Phd) and haters was popularized by hip hop (that popularizes every ill trend in the world) in the 90's and now in 2010 the term is widely used because of the extreme hatin' going on...

i see people hatin' on LeBron James....hell all he did was as a free agent select a team he wanted to play for because the Cavs were not gonna win a title anytime soon (just being honest)...ok people may not like "The Decision" he had on ESPN but personally I don't understand why people hate on it...he was a free agent that everybody and their momma wanted to know where he was gonna play the next few years of his career, might as well capitalize on the event...he's a good guy that does all the right things and after one 'bad' career move he's now the villain...

people hate on Nicki Minaj...i personally don't listen to all of her own music because its geared more towards the pop crowd and ladies (check youtube for "Check it out" and "Right thru me") but when she's featured on other artist's tracks she kills it...point blank, she can actually rap (check her verse on Kanye West - Monster)...i see celebrity females, internet message board females and regular meet on the street females hatin hard on Minaj...I understand why Lil Kim is hatin because Nicki used to be her in the 90's (skillful rapper with much sex appeal and buzz) and she wants that top spot back...i just read something about Gloria Velez (video vixen, i'd rather call em video hoes, that was on the Big Pimpin video, Luke Freak show video where she was 'carpet munching' another female, etc.) talkin ish about Nicki fake butt (btw no dude cares if a female's butt is fake, just as long as its nice) and talent as a rapper...she's another female hatin because of Nicki's popularity and that's where she wants to be...

all i'm sayin' is pour all of the haterade out your glass and get on your own grind...hatin' is nothing but jealousy in a different package...here's a rundown of some other people being hate on in 2010...

Pres. Obama - trying to bring a little change but gets constant hate from all sides (dems, repubs and the Tea Baggers in the Tea Party)
Jersey Shore cast - i agree they are retarded but they are hilarious because of their stupidity
Miami Heat - all they did is compose a team of great talent, its Chicago Bulls 96-98 v.2 (except not as great, greatest 1-2 combination in basketball ever)
Howard Stern - greatest radio talent this earth will ever have but gets shit on by cookie cutter tabloid shows like Extra, other TV celebrity magazine shows and mainstream media for his boldness and out-of-the-box entertainment
Good lookin females - other females just hate other females in general but really hate females that are fine wine dimes (come to think of it damn a dime, they even hate on 8's)

Apparently someone owns these classic animatronic characters from the old restaurant Showbiz Pizza which is now Chuck E. Spreadin the real: Mark Schlereth goin off bout the NFL

I have to say that the head hunting hits (where tacklers lead with their head to hit the offensive player in the head) that players should be fined...but otherwise they shouldn't...this past weekend we saw a lot of hard hits in NFL games...perhaps least hardest hits were from James Harrison of the Pittsburgh Steelers...he got fined $75,000 for legal hits (he didn't get flagged for in the game)...he's so upset that he's stated he may retire because of the rules the NFL are instituting and enforcing...in my opinion hits are a part of the game and the NFL is on some bullshit for their fining of Harrison...here's Mark Schlereth on ESPN goin off on the NFL...peep it

I'm very pleased that someone in the game is speakin the truth about what a up and coming artists should do not become a slave to the record company...and that's basically to stay independent and not sign to a major record label...i always thought it was some backwards shit what record labels do...the artist writes the song, records the song and then performs the song but the labels keep all the publishing and rights to the song...what kind of legal slavery ish is that...peep the legendary Young Guru speaking about the industry and its future...

Spreadin the real: Erykah Badu speaks truth

I've always thought for the last 2 to 3 years these songs are all sounding like some European techno shit...and most of it has, David Guetta has produced a lot of recent hits like Akon - Sexy Bitch and Flo Rida - Club can't hold me down...its a place for it but damn its seems that's all you hear from R&B and Hip Hop...i understand why R&B may be flooded with these type of beats but damn the Hip Hop game is also...I'm just sayin....apparently Ms. Badu has similar thoughts....here's her quote from somewhere:

How y’all gone stand by and let our music turn into pop techno cornball ass music. We don’t own our music no more. Come to think of it, did we EVER own it? when I say own our music , I’m not talkin bout the artist I’m talkin bout the people … let me be quiet. I wanna hear from the young people? easy for me to complain about this techno-pop cause i have a taste for something else. but how do u feel? These rappers ought to be shame of they damn selves, I’m talkin bout the mc’ s rappin over this pop techno music. I believe in pimpin the system buy got DAMN! not like this. #pop-technosongs. I like the idea of no distinction in race when it comes 2 music, but SOULkeepers, U dont give up the boom bip and the hump 4 the payday. I love house and techno as a side dish .But now it’s served as the main course AND that’s ALL u gone get. like chittlins in the back house. I love music PERIOD. just not ready to say goodbye to the boom bip and the hump .. kinda painful for my generation to see. just strange 2me. Yes, no1 wants 2B poor again. artist have2 sacrifice integrity of the music sometimes 2 make ends meet. this is understood.but gotDAMN now. if you’ve never tasted good p*ssy your satisfied with ass hole. Deion Sanders aka Primetime aka Neon Deion #34!?

The most entertaining, athletic and feared cornerback/kick returner in NFL history has got to be Deion Sanders...absolutely entertaining to watch, I was pleased to see "Primetime" join the 'Boys back in 95 to help Dallas capture the 3rd title in the 90's...I remember watching games where the opposition would not even throw in his direction...I mean literally they would not throw in his direction because of his blanket coverage and potential for a "pick 6"...here's a clip of Primetime upset for being selected as the 34th best player in NFL history...he's a little ticked off at his ranking and should be...he should at least be in the top 20, he was the epitome of the shutdown corner...peep and be entertained

Air Jordan XIII RErerelease + a little disgust

Now i didn't get these when they first released (1998, in high school with no money), i didn't get em when they rereleased (2005, didn't have my money right) but imma make sure and cop on black Friday of this year when the come back out for $160 ($10 over 2005 price)...i'm mad about that because Jordan Brand is using inferior materials from their previous OG and 1st retro models from 00-05...you can tell clearly because I just bought the Space Jam 11's in December of 09 and i hear squeaking in the sole already (i've only worn em 10 times at the most)...it ticks me off when sell for so much but don't give you the quality that they used to give you (Nike/Jordan Brand that is)...check this tidbit of info i got from Sneaker Files blog:

November 26th, Black Friday, the ‘Flint’ Air Jordan XIII Retro will once again be made available to purchase. Retail price is set at $160… yes, $160. The OG and 2005 Retro retailed at $150, and while it’s only a $10 increase, one cannot be too happy about the fact that cheaper materials and poor craftsmanship is somehow worth the price hike.

I was fortunate enough to see a product order sheet from one major sneaker retailer a few months ago. They purchased a pair of kicks (bulk order of course) that retailed at $150 for about $74 per pair… profit is about half the shoes overall retail value for said retailer, approximately $76 profit on every pair sold for retail value . That means that Jordan Brand should be making at least half of the wholesale price in profit as well, making the total cost to produce a finished product at about $37 per pair.

P.S. - that really grinds my gears

Tip of the Week #14: If you can't sing then no youtube

I guess people are trying to get famous or recognized anyway they can in the chaotic music industry...you have Justin Bieber, the kid that sang and played Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" on piano, Alexis Jordan (signed to RocNation, wikipedia her) and Sean Kingston (discovered from Myspace) who have talent and were discovered...but they are thousands, damn near millions of people that sing to their webcam and upload it to youtube that should NOT be doing it...

I don't know if they think they have talent or they're just doing it just to be seen...one thing I do know is that most of them are terrible and should not upload anything on youtube unless you wanna get laughed at...here's a tip for you, if you can't sing and don't wanna get embarrassed don't upload yourself singing on youtube...here's the comedic pleasure for ya...peep it

Random Rant vol. 28: Common - Be album circa 2005

You know when you talk to your parents or aunts & uncles they tell you that the music they listen to is better than what we listen to...well I knew I would eventually be that person that would say that to people younger than me but I didn't know it would happen this fast...i'm only 28 years old and I say that the music (hip hop music I'm speaking of) of the 90's and early early 00's was better than the mainstream stuff now...

they also say that an artist's album had to be good from start to finish because there was no such thing as tracking or fast forwarding an album (even though if you had vinyl you could change a song by picking up the needle and moving it)...you couldn't fast forward a 8-track cassette (my dad still has one [not in use though] and he actually owns an 8-track adapter for a cassette car stereo, damn that's throwback) so all the content had to be good, no filler songs...now that is true because even in the 90's hip hop artists had filler songs on albums...

but I wanna speak about an album that came out in 2005 that's a classic album for the artist and genre...that album is Common's "Be"...from start to finish the songs are impactful, full of lyrics, artistry and originality...produced mainly by KanYe West, Common went back to his soulful hip hop roots (unlike the eclectic "Electric Circus" album that I still think was dope)...you can actually listen to the album all the way through without tracking one song (a rare event in this era of the music industry)...if you haven't listened to it in a while I recommend you go back in the archives and give it another listen...its dope ish

Random Rant vol. 27: The hand you're dealt

As my birthday approaches in less than one month (i'll be one year closer to 30) I have learned a couple things in my young life...like people are born with incredible talents, some people are genuine down right a**holes, there is genuine evil and kindness in the world, money controls and dictates everything in the world (well I know at least in the United States) and most people have to deal with things simply because it was the hand they were dealt...its a cliched phrase but I actually whole-heartedly believe this...

I've met people that do nothing but good, kind to people and try to walk the 'right' path in life but things never quite work out the way it should...for example i noticed a person that goes the extra mile for others while shorting themselves short on luxury but can never get the same treatment in return...in fact they get shitted on when they ask for a little favor and the person they just helped will not return the favor...its akin to the middle child syndrome (its not really a syndrome i just couldn't think of another word)...the middle child in some families seems to always get the short end of the proverbial stick in family situations...

on the other end of the spectrum there are people that don't put any effort into anything they do but always seem to get 'the breaks' in life...these people may shit on others all day and will be the guy that will win a scratch off lottery ticket for $100,000...this will have you thinking 'how in the hell does he get the breaks and he treats people like bovine excrement'...i think this is the reason why some people don't like celebutantes/actresses like Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, Nicole Richie, etc. because they get everything handed to them for doing basically nothing while exhibiting horrible behavior...but that's the hand the were dealt (rather silver spoon they were fed with)....

its a unfair part of life but its actual...people are dealt a certain hand in life and its their choice to deal with it or fold under the unfortunate situation they were given (damn I have alot of euphemisms in this rant relating to cards)...i guess that's what life is

Spreadin the real: Rakim is the god mc

I always thought that Rakim had to be the most influential rapper since hip hop's inception (still haven't seen the Inception flick gotta go see it)...because if you listen to the artists that were big before him and at that time, no one had the rhyme flow like he had...and since Rakim blessed the mic every rapper since him has adopted what we call 'flow' now...back in hip hop's early days the words didn't flow together it was highly rhythmic and choppy but Rakim changed all of that...peep the vid about him talking about performing the entire Paid in Full album at the Rock the Bells concert (i wish that concert would come down pass the Mason/Dixon line to the south)....peep

NBA season 10-11 anticipation - Shaq still got it?

I can't wait for the NBA season to start...this may be the most excited i've been for the start of a NBA season since the Bulls were running the 90's...one thing i have to think about again was Shaq signing with the Celtics...at first I thought Shaq is on his last leg so why would Boston pick up another aging veteran who can play but does not have the durability to play at least 75% healthy for a full season...well i might eat those words cuz looking at "Shaqtus" on his Shaq vs. show when he raced Tyson Gay, looks like he still has some athleticism in those bones...check the vid (didn't know D. Howard and Shaq could run like that, impressive)

P.S. - I don't think Chris Johnson was running at full speed either

Spreadin the real: Joell Ortiz freestyle on Hot97

This is that hip hop that i love...when a mc gets on the mic and just rhymes...i want mainstream radio hip hop to get back to this (probably never will but oh well that's what the internet is for), where rhymes and skill simultaneously work with the beat (not where the beat solely carries the song)...Joell Ortiz goes in for bout 7 minutes, without a doubt he is one the illest artists out that most people have never heard of...download and peep it

Tip of the Week #13: Don't use the N-word

This conversation comes up every so often in casual conversations privately and publicly amongst mixed groups of people...here we go, the rule when it comes to using the N-word (nigga or nigger) is as simple as this: if you don't have melanin in your skin then you can't publicly (cuz i know people use it private all the time) use the N-word...don't try to figure out why black people or latin american people (puerto ricans especially) can use the word...or try to use the rationale that you should be able to use the word cuz Chris Rock says it on his standup specials or damn near every rapper says in on a song...you just can't say it

people with melanin can use the word (i'm speaking bout black people mainly) simply cuz we can....that's it no more no less...I liken the use of the N-word to I can talk about my mom but you damn shonuff (shout out to Shonuff from The Last Dragon cult classic) better not say not one derogatory statement about my mom, its just some shit you just are not allowed to do...this tip stems from Dr. Laura, a radio personality speaking about the use of the N-word...peep the audio clip

and remember just don't say it in public, you will avoid a lot of aggravation & criticism...

Spreadin the real: Classic NBA

Heres something just to get yall to reminisce when Marv Albert was on NBC, the refs didn't call technical fouls on hard fouls all the time, hand checking was allowed and the classic John Tesh NBA on NBC theme that precluded the NBA telecast...just look at this video from the '92 Christmas game between the Bulls and Knicks (when they were good and watchable, maybe this year they will entertaining with Stoudamire and Felton at the point)...classic ish

P.S. - can't wait for the '10 - '11 NBA season to start. Though i'm a NBA fan I don't think I've ever been this excited for the NBA like I'm am for the start of the NFL.

Spreadin the real: Rick Ross and the Roots-BMF

The Roots (go get that 'How I got over' album) one of my favorite groups and damn near the only hip hop band with real instrumentation (live drums and guitars, etc.) and Rozay aka Ricky Ross aka Officer Ricky aka the Bawse (i can go all day), Rick Ross perform B.M.F. on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon...i think that Teflon Don is his best solo effort to date...11 tracks of solid music, I'm not a fanatic Ross fan but this last album is good (been playing B.M.F. more than any other track too)...peep the performance

Tip of the Week #12: No E-Beefin, its corny

I'm going to make this short and blunt...dudes beefin on the internet is some bitch shit...its corny and wack to beef with another dude by typing some inflammatory shit about another dude on a message board anonymously...i don't like to see two or three dudes goin back and forth on Facebook or some message board talkin shit to each other about their senseless opinions on a topic...knowing that if they saw each other in person they all wouldn't do anything...it has the characteristics of a female talking nonsense trash to another female about some insignificant stuff...so dudes stop beefing with other females or males on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace (who still uses this anyway), BlackPlanet (and this too who uses this), UStream, even YouTube or any message board...

p.s. - I'm an advocate of the anti-moist, anti-corny and anti-bitch assedness movements...

Stuff of hilarity: Pebbelz da model's monster

Now I like a big monster rump on a female just as well as the next man...you know something that pokes out from a females back that's round as a basketball...but this female is ridiculous (a not ridiculous in the good sense)...as you well know (or should know) just like females can get breast implants and augmentations, they can also get butt injections to get their butts bigger (i.e. Nicki Minaj, no hate at all tho)...look at this stupidness of Pebbelz da model ass, she already got injections and now it looks like she got more injections...peep the before and after and after pics before the vid (that shows the right now version of her)...

now here's the video

p.s. Ladies slow down on the butt injections, yall clearly don't know when to say when

Innovations: Microsoft Kinect

The Nintendo Wii has ushered in a new side of gaming when they came out with the remote...Sony will have their version, Playstation Move and now Microsoft will have their version with the Microsoft Kinect...the difference between Microsoft's technology and Sony & Nintendo's is there are no controllers...its motion sensor just goes off of your movement...this is ill, peep the video to see what I mean...(i'm a playstation guy but i might consider getting a 360 since this will be available and Microsoft will release a slim version of the 360 also. Plus i'm pissed that the PS3 40 gb version is not backward compatible to playing PS2 games, that doesn't even make sense. I don't know how i didn't know this especially since the PS3 has been out since '06. I tried to play Mortal Kombat: Armeggedon and couldn't play the shit)...peep it

Random Rant vol. 26: People are A$%holes pt.2

Here's the 2nd installation of the people are assholes rant...with the developments of oil spill and the large oil company (BP) trying to fix the mess they could have prevented, brings me to the point that money creates larger assholes (A*$hole + Big money = Larger A#$hole)...We all know that money runs the world but I think we are getting to a point money controls every facet of our life...i read about how BP neglected aging equipment, pressured employees not to report problems and cut short or delayed inspections to reduce production costs...i understand that the point of a business is to make money but damn these oil companies are already making PROFITS in the BILLIONS of dollars...
the higher ups in the oil companies could give a F*$& about safety and environment (pertaining to if there's an oil spill it would ruin the ecosystem in the ocean therefore f'n up the food supply for seafood lovers)...they just care about the bottom line, profits!...i wanna make crazy amounts of money like the next man but if it comes at the expense of seriously hurting or killing people (workers have died on the oil rig and workers are having difficulty breathing trying to clean up the spill) then i don't want it...

which brings me to the next point, war...the people that fund and start wars are complete rhinoceros pizzel (quote from Coming to America, Semmi said it)...they don't start wars to protect the country or give people freedom from tyrannical governments, no they do it because you can make cold hard cash from wars...these f$&*ers could give 2 cents about how the people in war are living (this includes soldiers, soldiers families, civilians in the country of the war)...they just know they are going to make a millions and billions of dollars...this current Iraqi Freedom fiasco is now at a cost of a TRILLION dollars to taxpayers (damn I hate taxes [sales, car, luxury, food, alcohol. Surprisingly there's no tax on gas, interesting])... imagine the money war companies are making (Tony Stark would have made a killing this past decade if he were a real person)...fuck these dicks...

p.s. - We should get out of "Vietnam 2.0" (the current war we are in) because I've come to the conclusion that these middle eastern dudes will fight forever until the end of time and you can't win (they will kill themselves at will and raise their kids to do the same. How can you fight that!?)...also i don't think that that part of the world needs or wants a democratic, free will society like us so we should just leave em alone and cut our losses...

Another Cleveland don't leave ad

This is simply amazing the attention LeBron's getting from these NBA cities (New York, Chicago and Cleveland)...i've never seen this much fan press to get a player to play for their city...I root for the underdog in some situations and this is definitely one of those situations...the city of Cleveland needs LeBron like Detroit needs a boost in car production factories...i hope he stays in Cleveland for the city's economy, hell for entire state of Ohio...

Tip of the Week #11: Don't aggravate restaurant workers

This is a tip that is beneficial to your health well-being...when you go to a fast food spot, family restaurant, mom and pop restaurant refrain from complaining incessantly about the food...now i understand if they messed up your order completely and you want the waitress, drive-thru attendant or cashier to fix the order...don't give them a nasty attitude and complain that you're order is not what you wanted...there's a way to be respectful so they can give you what you want

...i say be respectful and show a little decorum because i always fear and think that those dudes in the back preparing your meal may get ticked off because the food keeps coming back and might do vile things to your food...you know like spit in it, drop it on the floor, shit it in it, drop bird poop in your salad, piss in your lemonade, you know stuff like that...just kindly ask the waiter/waitress to give you what you requested instead of giving attitude...(i don't even like to eat with people who complain about their food all the time to the waiters cuz i think they might f- up my food. Just wait til my food comes to the table then you can complain all you want)

and for godsakes sometimes it ain't that hard to just take the pickles off of your burger if you didn't want them, instead of sending it back for them to take off 3 pickles

Spreadin the real: Drake and The Cool Kids are...

We are now in the middle of '10 and approaching the beginning of the summer album releases....most anticipated for the summer of '10: Drake - Thank me later, The Roots - How I
got over, Nicki Minaj's release and The Game - R.E.D. album (don't expect anytime soon since Interscope pushed the album back indefinitely)...well Drake's album Thank me later as already leaked 15 days before its official release and I must say that its well worth the wait (since '09 when "So Far Gone" mixtape dropped)...the album is definitely solid, its an album you can listen to without skipping any tracks...

All the tracks are original, fresh and entertaining...I noticed the hate on Drake (on the 'net and in the streets) and I don't see why because he can actually rap with thought provoking, insightful lyrics...then to add he can actually carry a note without using autotunes over creative beats...another piece of music to check for is The Cool Kids latest mixtape venture with Los Angeles Leakers named Tacklebox....
the tacklebox has all new tracks with that old school 80's feel while Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish spit their fashion riddled, sports reference raps...definitely download this mixtape (this 'tape gave me some satisfaction because i was saddened by the release of Young Jeezy - Trap or Die II. Trap or Die II seemed too redundant [beats sounded similar] though some tracks are good) ...so go download or buy Drake's album (on June 15th) and d'load the Cool Kids mixtape....

p.s. - Wiz Khalifa's OJ and Kush mixtape is worth a listen or two also

Stuff of hilarity: The Rock on Cleveland

Since I'm on the LeBron, Cleveland subject...I might as well bring out the classic gem from an era when the present Dwayne Johnson was known to the world simply as The Rock...Joakim Noah bashed the city of Cleveland for being boring and basically shitty and it looks like The Rock had the same sentiment for Cleveland back in the 90's...peep the hilarity (damn WWE was funny and entertaining as all get out in the late 90's with DX, The Rock, Stone Cold, Jeff Jarrett, Y2J, etc.)...
