Innovations: 3D Printer

I'm tellin you people we are in an incredible age in human evolution, technology and history...you see 3D movies (that actually look 3 dimensional not the 3D from the 80's), cell phones and consumer camcorders that can record video in 3D and believe or not there are printers that print in 3 dimensions...yeah a printer that can replicate a object in 3D not 2D...just look at the video and be amazed...i'm still perplexed at this technology, incredible...peep it

The sales were declining also for Guitar Hero), Rock Band is continuing to strive...Mad Catz, the well known 3rd party hardware company released a MIDI pro adapter for the Rock Band...this basically means if you already on a keyboard or guitar with a MIDI connection (as most do) you can play the instrument you already own for Rock Band...this is a great hardware piece...peep the article:

Kit Eaton - FastCompany — MobiUS is a simple medical ultrasound imaging system like many others—but it has one rather astonishing plus: All you need is the wand, some gel, and a smartphone.

Mobisante is the firm behind the new technology, and it's just announced that the MobiUS has received FDA approval for use in the U.S. MobiUS is, according to its makers, the "world's first" smartphone-based commercial ultrasound imaging system, offering a degree of portability rarely seen before for this type of non-invasive medical imaging. It's also much more affordable than traditional ultrasound systems, which typically take up a whole roller-tray of space in doctor's offices. And, while they do offer more precise tools and a larger viewscreen, traditional models seem to rely on dedicated hardware that costs more to produce and run than a simple smartphone.

MobiUS, in contrast, is small enough to slip into a bag, and thanks to the Wi-Fi and cell phone services offered by the Windows Mobile system in the accompanying smartphone, it's actually easier to share digital images with other clinicians for consults, and with the parents of unborn babies. The size, simplicity, and portability of the device is key for Mobisante's plans to boost the powers of rural and remote medical professionals, who may suffer from limited resources, and it's exactly the kind of device that could provide useful medical data in an emergency situation far from the coziness of the ER or ob-gyn unit.

Considering that the FDA also just approved its first iPhone app, MobileMIM (designed to help doctors view and assess diagnostic imagery in rich interactive ways not possible with printouts), it seems the smartphone—and its larger cousin the tablet—will be a more standard feature of your doctor's medical toolset in the future. It also seems the FDA is moving to regulate the scene, which is a vital move considering the wealth of non-approved medical apps that are already available on the market.

Innovations: Microsoft Kinect

The Nintendo Wii has ushered in a new side of gaming when they came out with the remote...Sony will have their version, Playstation Move and now Microsoft will have their version with the Microsoft Kinect...the difference between Microsoft's technology and Sony & Nintendo's is there are no controllers...its motion sensor just goes off of your movement...this is ill, peep the video to see what I mean...(i'm a playstation guy but i might consider getting a 360 since this will be available and Microsoft will release a slim version of the 360 also. Plus i'm pissed that the PS3 40 gb version is not backward compatible to playing PS2 games, that doesn't even make sense. I don't know how i didn't know this especially since the PS3 has been out since '06. I tried to play Mortal Kombat: Armeggedon and couldn't play the shit)...peep it

I don't know why I had NO clue Sony was creating a motion controller (like the Nintendo Wii's controller)...it actually was show last year in June but i still had no clue til i read the article about EA releasing Tiger Woods '11 (i heard there will be another golfer on the front of the cover, Tiger might not even be on it) and they said it will incorporate the Sony Playstation Move controller when it releases in June '10...it looks like according to the demo that Sony had at E3, it is better technically the Nintendo Wii's controller...just peep the vid and be amazed....

This fryer from T-Fal named ActiFry, can fry 2lbs. of fries with 1 tbsp of oil...i need this bad cuz i love fries and don't like how they taste baking in the oven...this is good cuz its reliable and healthy (1 tbsp of oil)...i don't know bout the price tag though, 300 beans...damn, plus they sell this only in Canada according to the website (http://www.nutritious-delicious.ca/NutritiousDelicious/en/product_actifry.htm) ...

Innovations: Google Voice

I'm tellin you the innovations and software Google creates is simply amazing...the great thing about Google is that there software is FREE (really is absurd cuz they offer such great software)...they offer Google Maps on your mobile device (just as good as GPS but for free), Google Earth (incredible and scary at the same time. They take pics of your home!!! Scary ish), their incredible search engines (Google.com and blogsearch), blog services, email with huge storage space and now Google Voice...i'm just finding out about this even though i got a little insight from fellow blogger T.O. Polk (topolk.blogspot.com) about this innovation...

i'm not going to try and explain it just peep the link and learn...i wanna work for this company cuz they're growing and i heard the work environment was like a playground for adults...Google will take over the world afterwhile especially when they get this operating system working that's also probably going to be free (I-N-credible)...

Innovations: 32 GB SD card

i remember when SD cards were retailing for 40 plus dollars and they only had like 128 MB to 512 MB of space... btw stores like CVS and Rite-Aid should be fined by the government for still selling SD cards (1GB or 2GB) for 80 DOLLARS...who in the world would buy that when you can go to wal-mart and get it for a fraction of that price or go to eBay and get it for 10 to 15 dollars...

anyway there's a SD card made for HD cameras and the macbook that has a crazy 32 GB of space...it amazes me how much info can be stored on small storage devices (an iPod classic has a minimal storage space of 120 GB, i need to upgrade cuz i still got the 30 GB 'Pod)...
