Tip of the week #21: No skinny pants/jeans for dudes

I know I touched on this tip earlier when I did a tip of the week titled "No saggin your skinny jeans" but I have to revisit the issue...As you all well know that celebrities and stars can (and often do) dictate or influence fashion...the fashion that has been popular now for at least 2 years are skinny jeans on guys that you see on Lil Wayne, other young members of Young Money and other hipster rappers...I'm mean I can be aiight with a dude wearing slimmer jeans that the baggy jeans from the 90's but C'mon Son (shout out to Ed Lover)...here's the plain and simple tip, NO DUDES SHOULD WEAR SKINNY JEANS!...its feminine and you look retarded with skinny jeans that you have to jump into like a semi overweight female, squeezing into a pair of jeans that are 3 sizes too small for a night out with the girls...

i'm mean seriously look at the pic above of Lil Wayne at this year's VMA's...he couldn't put his wallet in his pocket if he wanted to...how in the hell is this close to portraying an image of a 'hard' emcee...i'm done, this fashion of dudes wearin female type clothes (super skinny jeans, deep cut v-neck shirts) is f*&$in me up

Deion Sanders HOF speech

I still say Deion is the best CB the NFL has ever had...i liked his style and skill even when he was on the 49ers and beat the Cowboys in the NFC championship in '94 (I overlooked it though because he signed with Dallas to help them win the Super Bowl in '95)...like his career, his HOF speech was incredible....peep it..

Spreadin the Real: LOX album delayed more than Detox!?

The LOX who are one of my fav groups of the 90's and now talk to MTV about the release or lack there of a release of LOX album...watch how they joke around saying that the album is delayed more than Detox (which it has. Chronic 2001 released in 1999 and the 2nd LOX album released in 2000. Buzz started about Detox releasing about '04 and the buzz about a 3rd LOX album was about '02)...peep it

Stuff of hilarity/Spreadin the real: Arsenio goes off

When the Arsenio Hall Show was on it was groundbreaking, revolutionary for minority talk show hosts and entertaining...he went off the air in the 90's (don't know how because everybody used to watch the show) but I hear he might be coming back to late night television...I don't know how successful he would be because that show might have just been lightning in a bottle...but here's a throwback video of Arsenio goin' in on a members of the Queer Nation...the show was so raw back then, wish I would see more stuff like this now...

p.s. - and how did we get to the point years later after the 70's - 90's that people are more sensitive and entertainment is more censored than ever...people need to get thicker skin and the higher ups need to stop censoring and editing every little thing
