Tip of the Week #5: Dudes stop sex-ting

This is another tip for dudes again...now i don't see anything wrong with women sexting (its kinda nice) but for dudes this is unacceptable...for 1) it looks kinda wack for a dude to send a picture of himself with his shirt off 2) you can get caught up sending compromising pictures of yourself to a woman...a female may clown you by showing her friends your pic by saying "look at this fool sending me a pic of his naked chest"...now you're the stupid guy that sends pics of himself to females...3) its kinda feminine

guys just don't 'sext'...also if you're creeping with another female, i would advise you to not send the female you are creeping with texts...believe me females save everything (pics, texts, voicemails)...sending texts will get you caught up, take note from Mr. Woods (Tiger that is)

support the anti-moist movement (word to King Flex, check out www.antimoist.com)

Random Rant vol. 22: Financial Faith

This random rant is the continuation from the earlier teaser titled "Religious Scammers"...i'm gonna rant on a broader subject here though, basically money and religion...I can't stand people who use religion and faith for their financial gain...in my opinion they are just as despicable as Wall Street fat cats who take your money, thieves that break into your house and tarot card readers (wow, tarot card and hand reading is the greatest scam on Earth)...

the televangelists, faith healers and other religious predators pry on the weak and battered by claiming they have a special power from God above...my view is if you have these 'special powers' and you are ordained by God then why are you charging God's people for your talents...these individuals are taking advantage of people in need and older folks' savings and little money they have by telling them that they can be healed just by the touch of their hand or by a magic piece of cloth or blessed water...and then they tell them to 'donate' money to the church...Jesus didn't charge people for his miracles so why should a regular human feel like he should gain financially from their so-called miracles...

it just sickens me that people can take advantage of disadvantaged people like that without flinching...and another thing I'm not comfortable with are huge conglomerate churches...now my feeling about these mega churches may stem from me being raised in a small country church in South Carolina (shout out to St. John Baptist Church on Springhill Road)...

but I just see these churches as religious businesses (some churches are like franchises, a McDonald's of the Cloth per se)...if a pastor or minister can afford private jets, Bentleys, Rolls Royces and million dollar homes then I think something is wrong...how and why are they getting 7 figure salaries for spreading the Word of God when some of them don't even have a job...how can you profit that much from being a minister?...now I'm not saying that pastors and ministers cannot live comfortably but damn Creflo Dollar (its crazy his last name is Dollar. Is that is real name?) is making more money from the church than a rookie 3rd baseman for the Atlanta Braves

...i just see some of the religious higher ups using faith to uplift their bank account rather than uplift the spirits of people who really need help...that's all i'm sayin..

holla,

Tip of the Week #4: No shirtless pics on social networks

As sketchy as the above pic is, it just backs up my advice and that is "Dudes, no shirtless pics or half naked profile pics on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc."...in my opinion I think it looks incredibly wack, lame and stupid for a dude to be in a mirror taking a picture of himself to post as a profile pic on a social network (damn that was a long run-on sentence)...its kinda feminine to be honest...that's what females do and they think its cute, but for a dude to do it looks retarded...

As a guy I don't wanna see your lame ass tryin to look sexy with your scrawny ass chest in your profile pic...this little tip also relates to my 1st tip of the week post which was "Dudes stop being lame"...it just looks like a desperate attempt at getting attention from other people (which is also a feminine characteristic) ...support the anti-moist movement and the new be-a-damn-man movement

this tip also applies to posting half naked videos of yourself on YouTube (btw that pic above is a still from Spectacular [i'm not calling him Sexy Spec', i'm a grown man] from the group Pretty Ricky when he did is strip tease on YouTube. Simply horrible)...just don't do it

Tip of the Week #3: Stop saggin your skinny jeans

I think skinny jeans are the worst fashion trend for dudes since well, um, this is the worst of all time...to add insult to injury, there are dudes that have these skin tight jeans like a young female are saggin' them...guys, advice guide number 1: Don't purchase and wear skinny jeans...it looks feminine, it looks uncomfortable and it looks feminine...advice guide number 2: if you wear these god-forsaken jeans don't sag them...it looks retarded for a dude to wear skinny jeans and then sag them, what's the point...i thought the point of wearing your leggings that are made of denim is to have them so tight that you can barely breathe...it kinda defeats the point to sag them like your wearin baggy jeans (i guess this makes it easier for you to piss)...personally i need breathing room for the 'crotchular' area but to each's own...support the anti-moist movement (word to Tariq Nasheed, http://macklessonsradio.com/), no to skinny jeans, tight shirts and dudes gossiping like women

...and another thing, The Jonas Brothers can't sing worth a shit...i heard them sing on some talk show (ok it was Ellen, i was flipping through the channels) and they just sound awful, i mean god awful...i don't think i heard one note that was in tune...

Random Rant vol. 22 teaser: Religious scammers

I titled this random rant as a teaser because its 4 o'clock in the morning and i got a little pissed off at what i just viewed on the television...since i can't go to sleep but want to just rant a lil, tonite i'll just post a title to what i will most likely rant more extensively about tomorrow...i absolutely hate when people take advantage of people in need by using their weakness for financial profit....

what i'm talking about mainly are televangelists...i'm up in the wee hours of the night flippin channels and come across a televangelist on BET saying 'get your free prayer cloth' ...now you know its not free because once you call the number to get it they are probably gonna ask you for a donation...its despicable that people in high religious positions make people "donate" money to them for a blessing by saying a cloth or water or some other object will grant them the blessing...i will rant later about this cuz i need to take my butt to sleep....

Tip of the week #2: Wash yo A**

I thought in my years on this Earth that certain things were commonplace and normal...you know things like covering your mouth when you cough, don't curse loudly around elderly folks, not pushing old folks in the street in front of moving cars, you know things like that....well there is one thing i thought was common but have discovered that its not...and that is washing your ass everyday...

i was taught at a very young age to wash your butt everyday regardless if you sweated (or swat, don't know what the past tense of sweat is)...i thought this is what everyone did but i figured out thats not true...some people actually go multiple days without putting not even a bubble of soap on their body...i'm a dude and i understand that you may slip up and not wash one day for some reason (gotta admit its happened before, not often though at all), but to conscientiously know you haven't washed in a day or two is plain, downright f'n filthy...

I listen to Howard Stern everyday and one of the people that works on the show, Richard Christie (very funny guy on the show) openly admits regularly that he won't wash for 3 to 4 days at a time (Monday he admitted he hasn't washed since Friday due to his gout)...he's also stated that when he was living in Florida in a storage unit (yeah you read right)years ago before living in New York, he wouldn't wash for 3 weeks at a time...all i'm sayin is for the sake of the people you work with, live with and walk past, please wash your ass everyday...

oh yeah, brush your teeth regularly also because your breath can also stink like yo funky rump...

Tip of the Week #1: Dudes stop being lame

In addition to my regular blog topics (Spreadin the real, random rants, stuff of hilarity, innovations, etc.), i'm adding a new topic...its gonna be entitled Tip of the week (catchy title ain't it, not really)...its almost like a mini rant with a lil advice...i gotta admit i'm not an advice giving guy but i gotta speak on certain situations when it seems like its common sense...

the first entry is, my fellow male counterparts PLEASE stop being so damn lame...i speak to females from time to time just to hear what come on lines they hear and how dudes approach them....i gotta say i see why most females reject dudes cuz as a whole we are stupid and lame as fuck...now, i don't have the so called 'game' that people associate with when it comes to trying to get a female...my only game is just to hold a conversation with them long enough so they know that i can form a complete sentence and don't sound like a complete dweeb...i really think this is all most females want is for a dude to hold a relevant conversation...

i hear bout dudes spittin wack-ass come on lines or tellin a female from the jump "I'll take you shopping" (she'll take the shopping spree but i guarantee she won't respect you) or in the 1st conversation start talking bout sex (only works with proven jumpoffs, skanks, skips or scalawags)...all i'm sayin just talk with some sense to a female and stop lookin like a lame-ass with your tight skinny jeans, fake hard acting, stupid game spittin, mohawk haircut ass (people get some originality and stop following people)

Random Rant vol. 21: I'm not a role model

"I'm not a role model...Just because I dunk a basketball doesn't mean I should raise your kids"...these words couldn't be more true spoken by the outspoken NBA Hall of Famer, Charles Barkley...i know i haven't ranted in a while but i felt intrigued to spew out some random verbs and adjectives about celebrities and the pedestal we put them on...now this just doesn't not pertain just to actors, athletes and retarded "celebutantes like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian (even though Kim's backside is quite nice), i'm also talking about politicians and other elected officials...

When David Letterman's sex scandal was revealed, people from all around the country gave the opinions...some were saying "I can't believe Dave would have relations with his interns" or "Dave should be fired from CBS for these acts"...my opinion, my honest opinion- its i don't give a fudge (substitute for the f-bomb) and others shouldn't either...why are people upset when people you see on tv or print have a sex scandal or do something amoral? ...the thing people don't realize is that these celebrities are people too just like you or I...they have sexual urges, addictions and problems like us...just because you see them everyday on the boob tube doesn't mean they have some special ability to escape human emotions and feelings...

By now it should not amaze or surprise anyone when an elected official gets caught with a hooker, young intern or a South American beauty (shout out to Mark Sanford)...i say look at these public figures as people that do the same stupid ish that me and you do on a day to day basis...i say if they don't use taxpayers money and can perform the job they were elected to do then damn it...i thought it was stupid, silly and waste of time to try and impeach former Pres. Clinton...so what he got some 'facetime' in the white house...it didn't effect his work so why make a 'stink' about it...plus he was just the only president we knew about that had extra marital affairs (except for Kennedy), this went on all the time with other presidents and officials in the nation's capitial

and for all the people that say "if i were in that position i would never take advantage of my power", you're just sayin that cuz you are not in that position...lets look at a situation: You are a rich, powerful television exec that has young females hitting on you constantly. They are ready and willing to do whatever you want, all you have to do is ask...now i have some morals about myself but damn, eventually i may test the waters and see what its like...

All i'm sayin is don't be so quick to judge and don't hold these people to Ghandi standards of living when you're living a life that's not so morally correct...

also people with no talent that are on these reality shows are not celebrities and the top songs on the radio are hideous...have you heard this song "Fireflies" by Owl City, its f'n hideous, terrible and horrendous...my gawd, this is the softest, fairy-esque song i've ever heard (damn that was random)

Spreadin the real: racism and economics

This is some of the realest (i know its not a word) and truthful piece of video on 'net in my opinion...I found this video about a year ago but then forgot the speaker's name...but while i was listening to macklessonsradio.com (shout out to Tariq 'King Flex' Nasheed) he spoke about him and then i youtube'd him (funny how new verbs are created from new technology. exs. IM'd, tweeted, facebook'd, i'll myspace you)

Random Rant vol. 20: The Vick Experience

As the day draws near to seeing vick in a eagles jersey in a game, the animal rights nuts are coming full force. Personally, I'm glad to see Vick back on the field simply because of his wow factor.
Now let's get into the meat of the subject at hand. Should Vick be able to play in the nfl? He should because he paid his debt to the govt by serving damn near 2 yrs in the 'clink'. Now don't get me wrong, what he did was completely heinous and quite inhumane. I kno he funded the operation but i don't kno if he killed or maimed or administered the terrible actions against the dogs. But if he did do that then its f'd up. People say that NFL is insensitive to animals and just cares bout money, well shit that's true. The NFL has already punished him for a season and possibly half of another one. They are doing the same as the govt, giving him another chance.
By the way, the govt really didn't care all that much about the dog fighting but rather the gambling and illegal activity over state lines. That's what he served his time for, illegal gambling and funding of an illegal activity over state lines, not the dog fighting. So I guess the federal gov't is insensitive to animals too. (Federal gov't only cares bout money too, point blank period. If you get money the wrong way they'll get from you from fines or jail time).
What do these protestors want Vick to do with the rest of his life? He already served the time, is he just supposed to live in obscurity forever. There's damn near been more of an uproar over Vick than 0J and the murders (and he supposedly killed 2 PEOPLE. I know I know, he did that shit). I thought this is ideal objective of prison, to have the prison rehabilate a guy so when he gets out he could live a prosperous legal life. Seems that's what Vick is doing.

Another thing I noticed was the racial divide on the issue. Most white people think he shouldn't be allowed to make millions of dollars while most ethnic people say he should. I don't have a clear cut answer why this is but I think its because ethnic people don't value a animal's life like a human's life. Since some ethnic people think they are being mistreated from other people (most likely white people. Don't misinterpret me, I'm not racist..i was in a relationship with a white female for many years [Damn that's some cliche ish to say]), they don't have the mentality that animal's life is a valued as equal to theirs.

All I kno is people that watch football and some Eagles fans are saying they won't watch an Eagles game. That is complete bull, cuz as soon as kickoff week begins they'll be sitting right there in front of the flat screen with a beer and chips watchin the action. Just wait til u see a break out play from Vick and watch the resentment die down dramatically. Besides there's more important issues in the U.S..
Oh yeah check Phonte from Little Brother and The Foreign Exchange (one of my fav groups) take on the issue from his podcast titled Gordon Gartrell Radio....

I totally 1000% agree with these cats about Nas having to pay $55,000 to Kelis for child support...the system is fucked up when fathers must pay this type of money...i got mad just like Mef when I heard the news just like when my best friend got hit up for child support 3 years ago and he was taking care of his...Nas doesn't even make this type of cheese to fork out $55,00o a month...who did the judge think Nas was, Diddy or somethin?... damn Nas hold your head and yall peep the vid (i was bout to start Random Rant vol. 20 talking bout this child support shit)...

Random Rant vol. 19: F*&K Ups!

Its been a while since I ranted about some random stuff...I gotta a lot to spew out but this one topic I've gotta speak about...I'm still fairly young (27 for those not in the know) but i think I've gathered enough knowledge to know a lil' about what life is about and what ills it will throw at you...One thing I figured out is that some people are destined for some things and are born with natural gifts...For example, I think when LeBron James was born he was already shooting 7 ft jumpers with a 7 inch vertical...I mean straight out the womb is hoop game was stellar and better than a 6 year olds game...I also figured out that some people are naturally born, absolute, god blessed (or devil blessed how ever you want to classify the orgin of a fuck ups life) Fuck Ups!...

The definition of a Fuck Up is a person that will completely mess up any good thing or fuck up something that is 'unfuckupable' (something that can't be messed up)...you see this all the time in sports...there will be an athlete with the world in his hands and always ends up in jail, getting arrested, getting fined or finding himself in situations that puzzle the mind (like how long did he think he was gonna last hidin' in a trunk to evade the cops. Does Rae Carruth jog your memory?) ...

Lawrence Phillips is a classic fuck up... Phillips was a star running back for Nebraska in the Cornhuskers 90's dominance...He was a slight fuck up in college but when he got drafted by the Rams he let his 'fuckupedness' all out...He got arrested over and over & was givin chances over and over...when nobody from the NFL would pick him up again after his illustrious fuck ups, he went to another league and still was messing up....

I've come across plenty of people that have a little opportunity to do something meaningful with their time and manage to fuck it up...I knew people that received a new car and within 4 months, they wrecked in once, rebuilt the transmission and had work done on the engine...I mean how is that possible...or I knew someone who had a job at a restaurant and after a couple of months got fired...i really believe that no matter what opportunities a person is presented with, the talent they possess or how easy the task is, some people will royally fuck it up without question...

here are my list of all time fuck ups:
Lawrence Phillips - countless arrests
Ryan Leaf - just got arrested again this year of '09
Pacman Jones (or Adam Jones as he wants to be called now)
Plaxico Burress (tho he had no other mishaps, shooting urself in a club in NY is a Fuck Ups trait)
People who drop out of high school to do absolutely nothing, i mean nothing
(they don't even commit crimes to pass the time and get money, damn!)
People of the show "COPS"
George W. Bush (damn that's a cheap shot)
Jeff Conaway (was on 2 seasons of Celebrity Rehab, former Grease star)
...and countless others i'll name later

Innovations: Google Voice

I'm tellin you the innovations and software Google creates is simply amazing...the great thing about Google is that there software is FREE (really is absurd cuz they offer such great software)...they offer Google Maps on your mobile device (just as good as GPS but for free), Google Earth (incredible and scary at the same time. They take pics of your home!!! Scary ish), their incredible search engines (Google.com and blogsearch), blog services, email with huge storage space and now Google Voice...i'm just finding out about this even though i got a little insight from fellow blogger T.O. Polk (topolk.blogspot.com) about this innovation...

i'm not going to try and explain it just peep the link and learn...i wanna work for this company cuz they're growing and i heard the work environment was like a playground for adults...Google will take over the world afterwhile especially when they get this operating system working that's also probably going to be free (I-N-credible)...

Crooks and Castles fisherman hat

With so many clothing lines out, i had to pick about 4 and just rock with those (Rocawear, Crooks & Castles, Undrcrwn and Levi for jeans, i would say my joint mARCandE but i've been slack and not printed a shirt out yet)...i dig Crooks & Castles' fisherman style bucket hat (shout out to EPMD)...i bought the black one from a store in Columbia, SC (i couldn't believe any store from my home state of SC carried any reputable streetwear lines but a store in the Sandhills shopping area carries it along with Sneaktip)...
Crooks produces some ill fitteds and shirts!!!...
i gotta get the carolina blue like the one shown...

Random Rant vol. 18: MJJ, singles, 50!

I have to add my two cents about the greatest entertainer/musician of the 20th century (and most likely the present 21st century) to add to the millions of blogposts, video tributes, song tributes and celebrity speeches...i remember when i was about 5 or 6 years old sleeping in a long gray t-shirt (prolly like size medium) with the words "Beat It" and MJ posed in large print...i know i wore it everynight until i eventually grew out of it...its been 4 days since he passed and I still can't believe Mike died at the age of 50...

Though he did some freaky things (bleach his skin, change is nose 80 times, hangin kids off balconies) he still had this aura about him that was genius and excellence...think about it, when MJ released a single on the radio in the 80's and early 90's (this is when radio had good songs on the air) did you really not like it...No, you always liked the song he released even if it wasn't your favorite...on every album he released since his first solo album, Off the Wall, he released at least 4 singles...that fact alone is insane...

i was looking on amazon.com just to look at the song titles from each album to see what was released as singles...if you look at the Thriller album, he released i think 7 singles from the 9 track album...that is ridiculous!!! (now you can barely get an artist to drop 2 good singles from a 17 track album) that's probably why its the highest selling album of all time...i also discovered that in the 80's when it released 10% of the American public owned the album...there will NEVER i mean never be another artist to sell albums and have an impact on the music industry like that...

i can go on and on about his album sales but i'll save you the trouble of reading stats...i'll end it by sayin, i moonwalked on wood floors with church socks on cuz of Mike and tried to lean forward like the Smooth Criminal cuz of Mike...all of his videos are legendary but Smooth Criminal was that joint (goes and downloads Moonwalker dvd or vhs from the 'net)...he will be missed and i still can't believe he died so soon like i couldn't believe Biggie died in '97...i guess all the greats die early (Bernie Mac, 2Pac, Big L, Big Pun, Jimi Hendrix, Jam Master Jay, Marvin Gaye, Pimp C [i know Pimp C is a stretch but he and Bun B were/are southern rap before it became nationally known])...
damn even Billy Mays died at the age of 50 (the OxiClean and infomercial guy)...what's really goin on

Innovations: 32 GB SD card

i remember when SD cards were retailing for 40 plus dollars and they only had like 128 MB to 512 MB of space... btw stores like CVS and Rite-Aid should be fined by the government for still selling SD cards (1GB or 2GB) for 80 DOLLARS...who in the world would buy that when you can go to wal-mart and get it for a fraction of that price or go to eBay and get it for 10 to 15 dollars...

anyway there's a SD card made for HD cameras and the macbook that has a crazy 32 GB of space...it amazes me how much info can be stored on small storage devices (an iPod classic has a minimal storage space of 120 GB, i need to upgrade cuz i still got the 30 GB 'Pod)...

Random Rant vol. 17 - A death creates life

First off let me start this rant off by saying THANK YOU Jay cuz somebody finally had the cojones to say stop all this autotune music making...This song by Jay-Z stated everything i thought was f'd up about the hip hop game right now...from dudes wearing slim fitting, nut sack huggin, form fitting jeans to rappers tryin to sing like T-Pain throughout the entire song to dudes just not actin like dudes no more...

When my brother told me about the song 2 weeks ago on a Saturday, i downloaded and seriously listened to the track 25 times in a week...everything about the track was ill, from the production by NO I.D. to Jay's precise and direct lyrics about what's fucked up about the game right now...hopefully since the God MC said that its the death of autotune it will truly be the death of autotune...Jay has this crazy effect on the hip hop culture where if he says somethin then the game changes....i.e. in '04 when he started to rock button downs instead of throwbacks then the jerseys went out of style...or "when he was drinkin Cristal when all yall bitches thought it was beer and shit" (line from 'Imaginary Players' on the In My Lifetime vol. 1 album circa '97) people then started to drink Cristal...or when he started to use the word 'swag' everybody started using the term and putting into their style (btw that term is so overused i officially stopped sayin it. Somebody should just kill that word, damn!)

The jiggaman is not the only artist speakin out against the "Moist Movement" (word to Tariq Nasheed- check out http://macklessonsradio.com/index/episode-192-the-anti-moist-movement to see what i'm talkin bout) ...my other fav artists the LOX (Sheek Louch, Styles P and Jadakiss for those not in the know) have been rappin about autotune and ringtone rappers & feminine dressin dudes for a minute, especially Styles P...for example of artists that support A.A.M.M. (Artists Against Moist Music) listen to L.E.G.A.C.Y.'s track called T.K.O. -http://www.zshare.net/audio/61148745b5c56e24/ ...listen to Sean Price's verse at the end especially...

Just to stress the point, I just don't even understand how dudes can rock "nut hugger" pants(shout out to Duane Martin in the flick Above the Rim)...how the fuck do they even piss in public without pullin their pants all the way to their knees like a 2 year old lad...as my brother says, these dudes wear too many colors and he said that 2 years ago before it got out of hand and super popular...i gotta agree and stress the point with "You niggas' jeans too tight/You colors too bright, your voice too light/I might wear black for a year straight..." - Jay-Z -D.O.A.

R.I.P. autotune for rappers (only Roger Troutman [RIP] and T-Pain should use it)...i don't like Ron Browz usin it (prolly the only way he could get his voice on a track), didn't like Kanye doin the entire album usin it (would have been a ill album if he rapped more cuz the beats are ill), Lil Wayne distorts is voice so much that i can't understand what the fuck he's sayin (like what is he sayin in the T-Pain cut "Can't Believe it", seriously one part of his verse it sounds like a robot's voice being slowed down on a old record player)...

and I don't understand why artists who can sing use autotune like R. Kelly...you are a legendary artist, stop following trends and create dope trends like you used to (can we please get another TP-2.com or Chocolate Factory like album. No more following whats trendy Kells, no more)...thanx and good nite

This is scary how Diddy's son lookes exactly like him...i can't believe how similar they look...its like Puff created a mini-me... i wonder if lil diddy can do the puffy dance his Pop's used to do in his 90's music hey day...

btw i haven't posted a rant in a while but its comin cuz i gotta talk about the God MC's newest song and how it relates to the current state of hip hop and how i feel about it...

Random Rant vol. 16: Rihanna's in the top 10

First off i'm goin to start by sayin "GOOD LAWD RIHANNA SURPRISED THE PISS OUT OF ME" (yeah i'm in all caps to show how serious I am)...i know the pics of Rihanna have been released on the 'net for about a week and better now, so this post might be late to all you internet geeks (that includes me too)...i felt i had to let the pics marinate before i could comment on it...

When i saw the naked flicks i had the open mouth jaw drop like a looney tunes character (though the pic below is a Disney character)...
Rihanna is no doubt attractive but i didn't know that her body is "bangin like a benzi" (Listen to "Ice Cream" - Raekwon ft. Ghostface Killah, Cappadonna, Method Man to see where i get the line from) ...my gawd, where did that body come from cuz it is stellar!...the "cans" are superb, the thighs are spectacular, face is A+ and the "backyard" is incredible...those 7 pics that i got changed my mind about Rihanna from a cute R&B/Pop singer to a bangin female artist that is now in my top 10 (rivaling the body of Meagan Good, seriously)...
if you haven't seen the pics, just google it and find em (i would post em here but imma make you search for 'em)...i'm gonna stop talking cuz after while i'm goin to sound creepy and sad...so i'll leave with this- COTDAMN! RIHANNA IS TIGHT AS HECK!!! GOOD GOOBLY GOOP, THAT THANG IS JUICY (wow, i used a line from a horrible Project Pat song)!!!

Innovations: Punch-out on Wii

Back in the late 80's, Nintendo blessed us young gamers with a classic....the game was Mike Tyson's Punch Out! ...Nintendo revived the game sans Mike Tyson and Mario as the Ref...they do have Lil Mac and Doc on the game with most of the classic fighters (Glass Joe, King ,the middle eastern fighter with tight fitting turban, etc.)... check the youtube Nintendo Wii commercial

Stuff of hilarity - Yogi's Clemson Slide

It's already been posted on T.O. Polk's blog but i gotta put it on mine...like the 92G dance video this is pure hilarity...two things to think about 1)how did he get the opportunity to steal 2nd base between innings (something designated for little kids) 2)the slide is ridiculously rough i.e. butt bad...check it and laugh

Random Rant vol. 15 - Busta is longevity

Joe Budden put it best in a 15 plus minute song titled "Who" where he raps about who killed hip hop (ill great track that you hafta listen to, that was split into 3 parts cuz of the length of the track...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teQC0rKl884) when he said "a million Busta albums he still not mentioned with the G.O.A.T." at the 4:33 mark...Ol' regular Joe opened my eyes to the fact that, Damn! Busta is one of the few Hip Hop artists that is extremely lyrical, charasimatic and talented that has stood the test of time...

Let's look back...he started his career with L.O.N.S. (Leaders of the New School for those that don't know) and was clearly the stand out...you could tell he was when he was on Yo! MTV Raps with LONS and he spit a few lines that showed his stand-out star ability (btw the group incredibly broke up during the taping of the episode)...he launched his solo career in '96 with "Woo Hah, got you all in check" single off "The Coming" LP....it was a smash single and every since then he's dropped a solid album for 12 plus years...

yea he did have a couple of stints where he didn't drop a album for a 3 to 4 years ('It ain't safe no more'-2002 to 'Big Bang'-2006 to 'Back on my B.S.'-May 2009) but during those breaks he was always featured on other people's joints...there have been many summers where i remembered he was on everybody's song...everytime he's on the track he damn near steals the song from the original artists (i.e. A Tribe called Quest ft. LONS - Scenario (remix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFZLq6R-ZtM&feature=related)

...also even though he may say some crazy stuff (especially earlier in his solo career) his lyrical skills are second to none...then to add his voice sounds like nothin you've ever heard...hell, his laugh is even crazy (Busta's and Jadakiss' laugh is weird, unique and funny) ...on the visual side of the spectrum, his videos are quite entertaining (unlike the normal ass shakin [tho i love ass shakin], jewerly flossin, gangsta braggin facade rap videos) check the videos 'What's it gonna be', 'Woo Hah! got you all in check', 'Woo Hah!' rmx with ODB, 'Put your hands where my eyes can see' (still can do the dances in the vid) & 'Gimme some more'
so go and find the albums and listen to the great B. Rhymes...you will be entertained...i'll leave you with a discography and his latest mixtape that dropped May 5th before his new LP "Back on my B.S."

New Mixtape fully tagged - "I Bullshit you not" mixtape
